A.M. and M.A. fully funded Kanna's route, and Donovan went ahead and fully funded Kaho's route, and it is now done! Kaho's route and epilogue are now 100% available in english, edited and revised by LQT.

To install, download the .zip archive from the link above.
Extract all the files onto your computer.
Move the extracted files directly into the folder where Harakano is installed (overwrite all previous files).
Launch the game and enjoy?
Kaho is the elder sister of Marina, and daughter of Kanna. Her route is unfortunately the second shortest in the game (second only to Kanna's, unless you count the Harem ending as a route), but I hope you all will enjoy it.
This leaves but one route left to finish before I will be done with HaraKano entirely. It's been a long process, and there's still some more to do, but I thank you all for your patience and your support throughout these past... oh wow, over two whole years. Special thanks to A.M. and M.A. and Donovan, because of whom Kanna and Kaho's routes were completed at all.
Speaking of Donovan and speaking of thanks, thanks to Donovan (again) and RandomInternetUser for funding the final route I will be working on in HaraKano: Haruka's route! I plan to start it immediately, and hope to have it finished soon, a long with all the final bits and pieces of the game I plan on working on.
Unfortunately, I must also announce at this time that I will not currently be accepting funding for further Swaneye projects/routes. My life situation looks like it's going to be changing in a rather large way fairly shortly, so until that gets sorted out I will not be taking on additional translation projects, beyond the current ones. If you'd still like to donate and support LQT, though, it still is definitely appreciated (seriously) and not just because Star Ocean 5 just came out.
At any rate, I thank you all for your ongoing support and continued patience. I hope you enjoy Kaho's route (short as is it; it seems like the writer for Swaneye seemed to miss/ran out of time for a lot of the opportunities a character like Kaho had in the story), and I hope you look forward to Haruka's route.

Updated the new patch I had put up earlier patch notes are inside the zip file along with a 100% save file. You can't load old saves with it unless you had an earlier version of the patch. Biggest change is edited images and can fit more text in text boxes.

I also made a newer have a new patch for HaraMiko Shimai. Similar changes to HaraKano more text in text boxes and edited images some were already edited I did the rest.
DeleteYou can use play both of these games with or without Japanese applocale/systemlocale, font will change depending on which you use though.

UPDATE 8/6/2016
Delete-I've reworked both of these patches. Redid word wrap, changed font from MS Gothic to MS PGothic because MS Gothic just looked awful. Adjusted message window margins, line spacing and letter spacing. Re-centered peoples names due to the above changes. Both should be able to run with any system locale tested on Windows 7 and 10. Added MS Mincho/MS PMincho font for install. The font doesn't come with Windows 10 and you might not have it anyway. Harakano has a 100% collected save and both have Walkthough although Harakano walkthough might not be complete.

um question new here does the little sister hiyo not have her own route or is it sort of Incorporated in to one of the other characters routes.

ReplyDeleteI just downloaded the patch and applied it to my install of the game. Kaho's route is translated for me; are you sure you were on Kaho's route and not Haruka's or Hiyo's? And do you have the most up to date version of the patch?

Yes no matter how I try it end up only kaho route didn't translate I also try new game too but every route is fine except Kaho and I try her epilogue but still Japan

DeleteThere will be a folder named 'patch'
Go into that folder.
There will be many files (it should look like this: http://i.imgur.com/8DZnfHA.jpg )
Open the file named sc_kaho.ks
Scroll through it. There should be lines in Japanese, but also lines in English. If there are only lines in Japanese, then you need to download the newest version of the patch from here: https://www.mediafire.com/?muy1s6yvv29j00l
If there are lines in English, then the route is translated and you need to make sure you are on Kaho's route. Hiyo's route is not translated. Haruka's route is not translated. The Harem route is not translated.

Download the patch from that link and use the files in it to overwrite your files.
I don't under stand when I extract file and open kaho file it have eng in there but when I copy to game inventory and open again ENG Has gone.

DeleteMove Harakano's entire folder onto your desktop.
Delete the entire patch folder from Harakano folder.
Redownload the new patch.
Put the new patch into the Harakano folder.
Check sc_kaho.ks to see if it is in English.
If it is, run the game. It should work.
If it isn't, there is some problem with your PC and I do not
know how you may correct it. Good luck.
Now h scene is translate but her router and epilogue still japan do i need other file ?

You took the files in the patch folder outside of that folder when you put them into your Harakano install, which stops the patch from working. You need to keep the files that were in the patch.zip archive's 'patch' folder inside that folder when you move them into your Harakano install folder.
DeleteEasy to fix; just make a folder named patch inside your Hakano install folder (so you will have a folder named patch and a folder named plugin alongside all the other game files) and then move all these files into that folder:

Run the game, start the game, it should be in english.
