Hey, Appreciate your work Played through 2 routes on Maman Kyoushitsu. Would love it if you made a walkthrough of it. right now trying to install Hara kano though i dont seem to get it to work i get this message http://imgur.com/000BH2x Which i have no clue why since i sadly dont read Japanese :S id appreciate some help :) and keep the good work up looking forward to future translations!
It's asking you to insert the disc. If you have an .iso or .mdf or .mds of the game, mount it onto your virtual drive (like you most likely did to install it originally) and keep it mounted, then start the game. There is no No-DVD patch for HaraKano.
Thanks, i did insert the disc and now i get something about serial key i was kind of expecting there to be a crack, so i searched it up and found that im supposed to use some demo version of it? i downloaded the demo though i still got the serial key problem :S
There should also have been an EDP4.dll file with the torrent, which you move into Harakano's install folder (overwriting the EPD4.dll file already there), along with the demo.exe (it should be a 372mb .exe file), so both are in the same folder as the Harakano.exe. Once done, double click the demo's .exe and it should run the full game.
You are a god ,_, I dont want to bother you too much and i actually have one last question :P if you dont have time i totally respect that ^^ (especially since this game probably has nothing to do with you) but ive been asking for a translation of this error message all over the place (places iknow)
Its about Mother and daughter lesson. i did the CD crack thingy. but still i get this when i try to start the game http://i.imgur.com/la3gaIF.png i got this before i did the cd crack aswell did i do something wrong? after i did the cd crack i got a new file reg.exe.bak
I totally understand if you dont have time, and i look forward to Future translations! im guessing you will update this blog if you start a new project?
Thank you for your hard work! I've tried reading some visual novels in Japanese and I know that most of the time it's one hell of a trouble to understand what dat stoopid text is supposed to mean. Although sometimes I wonder if I am the only one having this problem... Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and please continue what you do!
Hey loe~ I've been following your blog for a while know and have enjoyed the work you have done greatly since you've been working on a niche genre. I've come to ask if I could commission you to translate some chapters (3) of a tankabon from the amazing artist izayoi seishin. I managed to do one chapter (got the translations from friend) but shes too busy to help now and I don't know who else to ask. The raws are on G.E hentai and have been left alone for years so I wanted to get the series finally done and let fans of Hentai enjoy the story and art.
Thank you so much for your hard work! I'm on a bit of an impregnation kick lately and am overjoyed that you've made so much content available for my comprehension.
I would gladly donate but unfortunately I'm between jobs at the moment. I can however offer my Photoshop abilities should you need such a thing for interface translation or what have you.
Hi there Loe, I really love and appreciate your translating efforts, specially the swan games. Would you be available for VN game commissions after you finish Hara Kano? Maybe in a couple of months? Do you think your time frame will allows this? Thanks and best regards
Commissions would probably depend on three things: Content of the VN (there's some thing I'd rather not translate/have it on record that I translated it), personal availability, and whether or not the VN's scripts are available. The only reason I can translate the Swan games so well is because BonzaiMonkey made special patches which let me modify the game's scripts themselves, and I do not have the tools or the knowledge to do this myself with other VNs. As such, any translation commissioned would need to have the script files and translation patch made available to me beforehand OR the commissioner would need to be content to have the translation be in the form of an accompanying text document that could be read alongside the game rather than put into the game its self. I just don't know computers or visual novel engines well enough :C
I'm gonna need more info in order to trouble shoot your problem. How did it not work? Did the .exe not launch? Did an error message appear? Did the game launch, but the dialogue was still in Japanese?
Hello Loe, I wanted to write you from you personal mail but i couldnt find it so i will write it here.
Firstly thank you for your all hardwork i really appreciate it.
I was looking to some novels at vndb and i noticed that "Doki Doki Oyako Lesson" has %80 translation completed.
But looks like the group which makes the translation (Dark Translations)stopped doing the translation and staff changed it's name to "Sanity Ends!" and also that group is not active right now as i noticed.
Would you consider completing that translation from where it left ? I thought it might be an easy translation because only %20 left to translate. Thank you for your translation You Rock. :D
I have the data book, the art book, and even the plushie of the mascot. I don't have a scanner, though, so it might be awhile before I can get and upload scans of any of them :C
Hey Loe, I noticed someone had edited some of HaraMiko's images so I decided to do the rest of them. Also did these changes: 1. Files converted to utf-16le UNICODE so game can be run with or WITHOUT Japanese Locale. 2. Word-wrap in both message and history log before it was just message and slightly improved overall. 3. Brackets added to names so they're easier to read in history log. 4. Line and letter spacing decreased now lines and letters are closer together. 5. Tool tip hints are now in english.
You can't load previous saves though but you still use the CGs/Scenes you've collected. I included the original for those who want to load those saves.
I recently purchased harakano from dmm.r18 but once ive downloaded the files i havent got a clue how to get the files together to install it as the site doesnt make much sense to me, does anybody know of a step by step guide for this or can somebody help me please. And thanks for makin the patch
I think I got Harakano from the same place, but I don't remember how I went about installing it. Could you post a screen shot of the files you downloaded for it?
click on my profile its under photos the only one on there i think the site tells you that you need a program LhaForge but i dont know how to use that and the text is all Japanese which unfortunately i cant read and the site instillation guide even when translated is difficult to understand
I might have used 7zip to open the first file and then combine them all together to create a zip file (which you then extract onto your computer to actually be able to play the game) but I don't remember. If I can remember my log in stuff, I'll try redownloading it in the future when I have the time and the disk space, then make a guide about what I did (it'll probably be a couple days, though).
yep download all the corresponding files 7 of them only 1 zip file, unzip the file into a new folder move the other files into the same folder then use 7-zip to extract the files, brilliant thanks so much Loe when i get back into work definitely donatin
Hello LQT..i really appreciate your ttranslation and love it.. can you also do the HARATSUMA Nurse because the other translator link is already broken.. hope to hear u soon :(
Greetings, LoE, I am writing to request some assistance with my own TL project. I know you are pretty busy with your ongoing projects. I am just reaching out to everyone I know in the VN Translation community for assistance. The game is: https://vndb.org/v15604
I already have all of the game text extracted, but it needs translating, and unfortunately, I currently possess the fluency of an infant when it comes to Japanese. If you have time, or are just bored, feel free to hop over to take a look: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fx6ax09DFPwYGwb-FtoH5rY9m4qGhssRzyykYbsbCDM/edit?usp=sharing
I'm currently translating a Lune game and don't know how to make the patch. I was told you might be able to help. If you can, e-mail me at alternation62@yahoo.com and maybe we can get a conversation started.
Hey, I was wondering if you'd be willing to share any information on how making patches for Mahoyo works. I've had a bit of trouble finding software or information on it. Thank you, my email is ninthsorcerer@protonmail.com
I was able to apply patch to Mahoyo using KrkrExtract to extract the .ks files (dialog) and Xp3Pack (to pack a folder containing .ks translated files into a XP3 file). Xp3Pack is not really "perfect" since it requires for a plugin to be put on the plugin folder of Mahoyo's instalation folder.

I don't know how to patch visual novels into English. I just know how to translate Japanese into English. All the patch stuff is done by anonymous people online that offered to help me with VN patches and incorporating my translations into their games.
Good day LQT, this is eclipse2025 from twitter, and was mostly just trying to inquire about setting up some work, that is within your guidelines, for translation. Is there any good way i could seek dm contact to inquire about pricing and submission of files? Thanks in advance.

Again, it's asking you to insert the disc. And this blog is the current home for LQT stuff, so yeah, I'll update it with various new projects.
