My bad!

It has come to my attention that I made an error in constructing the HaraKano -100% translation patch. Rather than put the correct patch.xp3 file into the .zip archive (which makes the translation work), I put in... another copy of the .zip archive. I have corrected the mistake (I hope) thanks to a user pointing it out to me, and now you should be able to properly install the patch, for the actual -100% translation. Here's the link; just redownload the .zip, extract the 'patch' folder and patch.xp3 file, and move them into your HaraKano game folder. If only I had realized this sooner...

  1. Only realized after I started playing, but is there going to be a real patch of this game coming out?

    1. It is a far off vision, as the common story for HaraKano is surprisingly long; everything I wrote for the April Fools joke story is like maybe a fifteenth of what comprises HK. Before HK comes Mamankyoushitsu being finished, though.

    2. For the record, this here is the actual translation status of HaraKano.

You can play through how much I have done yourself by renaming the 'scenario1 Real.ks' file in the patch folder to 'scenario1.ks' (just delete or rename the current 'scenario1.ks' file; it's the joke script)

    3. my game patch translates as far as after the first choice after they sit down to eat and the mother an daughter start their skit. It deosnt translate any further what is wrong

    4. That's the current cut off point for the real, unfinished patch. The -100% patch was a joke patch, made for April Fools.

  2. may I ask why the menu didn't get translated?
I'm having problem with remembering the menu and the name of each character...

    1. The text on the menus isn't actual, editable text. They're Japanese text turned into images and used as buttons. To edit those would require I edit the game's image files, which I do not currently have the capability to do.

  3. So this is a April Fools?
    Or The "real" 100% patch?

    1. The REAL patch is like 15% complete.
This was April Fools, since I wanted to test how the swan engine and scripts are programmed (and make a fake harem end, since the real one ignores two characters. )
